The Central region of the city includes the Downtown area which is the location of Baltimore's main commercial area. Home to Harborplace, The Camden Yards Sports Complex, the Convention Center, and the National Aquarium in Baltimore, the area also includes many nightclubs, bars and restaurants, shopping centers and various other attractions..

Power Plant Live! is a collection of bars, clubs, and other businesses in the Inner Harbor section of downtown Baltimore, Maryland. The entertainment complex gets its name from the nearby "Power Plant" building, which was also developed by Cordish.

The Eastern region is the heart of what is considered "East Baltimore". Located below Erdman Avenue and Sinclair Lane above Orleans Street, it is almost an exclusively African American area home to low-income residential neighborhoods, several of which constitute many of Baltimore's high crime areas.

The Baltimore School for the Arts strives to be the leading pre-professional arts high school in the country. BSA provides talented students from all sectors of the community with a personally supportive and intellectually challenging environment where rigorous training in a specific arts discipline combines with a college preparatory academic education. The School provides qualified students with intensive training in one of four arts disciplines: the visual arts, music, theatre or dance.

Recent scandal has caused several structural changes to the school's administration and academic curriculum, including the separation of the school into different academies. In the early 90's the school was marred with reports of high dropout rates, low test scores, gang violence, shootings, fires, and fights. The school board organized a plan to revamp the school into a new learning environment. Walbrook also includes: Metal Detectors; Uniforms; Electronic Identification Cards,

University of Maryland, Baltimore, (also known as UMB) was founded in 1807. It comprises some of the oldest professional schools in the nation and world. It is the original campus of the University System of Maryland. Located on 60 acres in downtown Baltimore, Maryland, it is part of the University System of Maryland.

Ashburton houses are large, attractive and architecturally diverse, with Colonial, Victorian, Tudor and Spanish styles predominating. Usually included in the houses are three to four bedrooms, a finished basement, wood-burning fireplaces and a separate garage. Houses were built in the 1920s and the late 1930s.

Reservoir Hill is a beautiful, historic residential neighborhood adjacent to Druid Hill Park. It is home to stately Victorian town homes, restored apartment buildings, and a diverse mix of residents from all backgrounds and all walks of life who together function as a unified community. The houses are beautiful and spacious, with carved mantles, hardwood floors, pocket doors, and 10 – 11 feet ceilings. Reservoir Hill also is the home of four multi-story apartment buildings that were built early in the 20th century and renovated in the past decade.

The future looks bright for Charles North as new condominium and apartment complexes are under construction and a commercial district revitalization continues to gain momentum. 3 story brick town houses around 100 years old. Some are single homes (owner occupied) while many others have multiple dwelling units.

Better Waverly is a village of renovated former estates, quaint, quirky summer cottages, single frames and duplexes in assorted sizes and shapes as well as rows of solid daylight brick homes featuring glassed in sun porches on little tree-lined lanes and broad boulevards.

Row Houses--most with porch fronts. Age approximately 70 years. Middle class to low income--majority of residents are working class, with interest in home ownership.

The low income Neighborhood. Sandtown had become a neighborhood challenged by virtually every urban ill: poverty, unemployment, poor health, low student achievement, illiteracy, teen pregnancy, substance abuse, grimeÉmost significantly, Sandtown suffered an almost paralyzing lack of hope. Two (2) and three (3) story brick houses, rowhouses, porchfront, carriage houses, granny units, most over 60 years old. Sandtown Winchester is a 72 square block community in West Baltimore. Known locally as "Sandtown" it's home to over 10,300 residents.

Two and three story brick and Formstone houses, with white marble steps that are a landmark of Southeast Baltimore. We have front porch homes that have front and rear lawns. Our homes are available for rent and for sale. Most of the homes are well maintained and range in price from $40,000 to $70,000. One of the major home features are the stained glass transoms and windows, with large second floor bay windows. The ages of the homes date from 1926 to 1938. Mostly European descendants but also include people of American Indian, Asian, African-American and Hispanic ancestry all living in harmony in a low crime environment.
